Kayla and Cody's Wedding

I just realized that it has been a year since I last posted. I either have a very boring life or a busy life. I look back and realize that I have been busy. I will try to post some pictures from the last year. I just wanted to post a few pictures of Kayla and Cody's wedding. I was assigned to take a video of the wedding as Howard was handling Kayla's horse so I wasn't able to get any snap shots of the actual wedding--only pictures after. It was a lovely and touching wedding. We wish the best for them.

Garage Sale at the Dickeys

While I was at Eileen's she had a very sucessful garage sale. Ryland and Caden sold brownies, rice krispy bars and water. Britton was their best customer because Grandma kept slipping him money to buy brownies. They sold all their brownies and rice krispy bars. The pictures are not too good as I was still leaning to use my new camera.

The blouse is saved

Sorry Britton! It looks like I will get to keep the blouse. 75% of the pollers said the blouse was appropiate to wear to meetings. 25% said it doesn't matter. The one vote was probably grandpa because he doesn't know anything about "shirts" or in this case blouses either. Grandma

Jimmy Misses the Dickey Kids

Hi Caden, Ryland, Rheanna, and Britton. I am fine but I miss you. I tried to hide from Mom before she left because I didn't want to go home. It is so boring here. She found me in Jorden's bed--Too Bad!!! I will soon have my own blog so watch for it.

Finally Wyoming.

We left June 17, 2008 for the last lap of our journey to Wyoming. We arrived at Howard's mom's house in Wheatland, Wyoming in the afternoon of the 17th. We later went out to Howard's sister Nancy's house.
Aunt Nancy and Uncle Eddie's new home where the family reunion took place.

More of Trip to Wyoming

This pass is about 10 miles out of Leadville, CO. We continued from Leadville on to Interstate 70. We travelled on I-70. and exited at Dillon. We camped that night at a BLM Campground near Kremmling, CO. There was nothing special there.

I decided I had better continue our trip to Wyoming before a year goes by. My last post left us at Buena Vista, CO on June 16, 2008. We left Buena Vista for Leadville, Co. Leadville is an old mining town. There is still going on there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLAND

Look how you have grown

Grandma and Grandpa C wish you a very Happy Birthday

Cottonwood Pass

Jimmy enjoyed the snow. It was really cold up that high.

We left Tin Cup, Colorado in the afternoon of June 16 and went over Cottonwood Pass to Buena Vista, CO. There was alot of snow there yet. Howard hasn't gotten all the pictures on the computer yet. I will send one later to show the depth of the snow in comparison to our RV. The road over the pass was dirt until we got to the top and payment on the other side. The dirt part was really pretty good for the time of year.
